The GP fire-fighting pumping stations have been designed to ensure automatic supply to fire-fighting water system by FIRE-CABIN UNI 25/45/70 or SPRINKLER, in according to UNI 9490 standards and CEN European Normative.

LOGIC OF OPERATION:
The JOCKEY pump intervenes for first to lower online some pressure, it is on its way and automatically arrested by a pressure switch pilots "63J"
If online the pressure lowers under the value of intervention of the pump JOCKEY, a second pressure switch pilots "63E" it automatically commands the starting of the main pump.
If online the pressure lowers under the value of intervention of the main pump, a third pressure switch "63D" it automatically commands the starting of the second main pump (operated by the Diesel endothermic motor).
Every time that the net disburses through one or more fire – cabin, or however when the course pumped by the JOCKEY is not enough for supply to the possible losses, it intervenes first the main pump and then, if the pressure subsequently lowers, the second main pump.

All pumping stations are manufactured in accordance with the UNI 9490-10779 standards, including:
Pumps connected to motors by flexible coupling permit disassembly independently from the motor.
Individual electrical panel for each pump.
Double command pressure switch for each pump.
Device of automatic starting.

The equipment with DIESEL motor pump includes:
Double start-up battery
Double battery charge
Separate diesel tank installed to ensure gravity supply and having a capacity that guarantees autonomy for six hours at maximum power

FLOW MEASURING DEVICES
The by-pass type flowmeters are instant flow measuring devices, suitable for medium and medium-large flow of liquid.
The flow measurement can be read with great accuracy on the graduated scale imprinted on the conical glass tube

PRIMING MODULE
In the case of the pumping station is installed above the minimum water level, each pump must have its suction manifold, separate from the other, the automatic priming module including:
· 500-litre primary horizontal tank
· float switch
· valves and equipment

Every GP pumping stations are pre assembled on common base, including all accessories.

When required complete pumping station can be assembled inside a CONTAINER or TANK.
